Crowdfunding Networks

YOUR CROWDFUNDING NETWORKS

The only way to successful promote your crowdfunding project means you are going to have to tell people about it. This means you have to leverage your crowdfunding network.
Unfortunately, it’s not a case of “if we build it, they will come”. Setting up your page is only the first step. Now you need to get people onto your page.
There are four main ways to do this:
Via email
Via social media
In-person networks
The press
Crowdfunding relies on a crowd. Everyone has a crowd. Including you.
Your network will include your friends, your family, your fans in this case your Sugardaddies from your member profiles on Sugardaddy websites.
Also followers on social media, and any community groups you are associated with.
The present section will show you how to approach your own networks – and go wider into your community – through email, social media, in-person networks and local newspapers. Again, when appropriate, it’s important to contact as many people as possible to spread the word – it’s the secret to a successful project!

IN-PERSON CROWDFUNDING NETWORKS

Sometimes people think that because crowdfunding is online, they can’t promote it offline as well. In truth, this is one of the best ways to promote your project.
There’s also the ability to get your friends and family to promote your campaign to their wider networks if they’re willing.

Getting people to your page

When someone is interested in your Campaign, it can be a little difficult to give them the project address. Tell them you will email, text, or message them the link (make sure you have their contact details!)
People are more likely to click the link than to type it into their browser on their computer. Each Campaign on FundmySugarbaby has share buttons for different Social media links so it is easy to share.

Case Study

Jane spends some time joining as many free sugardaddy websites as she can and making her profile on the sites. Each night she focuses on making contact with anyone who’s shown interest in her profile as well as contacting suitable Sugardaddies on the website.
Jane sends links to as many Sugardaddies as she can, her aim is to send out at least 1000 links during her 45 day campaign which is approximately 22 links per day, from this amount Jane estimates approximately 5% will contribute to her Campaign.
She also uses her social networks and online community to share her Campaign. She contacts her friends and family to help support her campaign and contacts local news blogs about her Campaign to raise funds for her travel expenses related to her studies.
Just by leveraging her crowdfunding network Jane has now funded her Campaign and is ready to set up her next Campaign with her new contacts and Sugardaddy followers !
